Sign up and tell us what sports you participate in, your ability with each sport, and where you're interested in riding. Once registered you can then search for rides that other members have posted in your area. If there are currently no rides posted, you can then post your own ride, and we'll let others with the same interests and skill level know that you've posted a ride. They can then click a link on their phone and "ask" to join your ride. Once you've approved their request, we'll send them the details of where to meet up. It's really very simple.

Didn't find a ride to join? That's ok! Post your own ride and we'll let other members with similar skills that you want to get out. They can then ask to join! You never have to cold call anyone!
Multiple Sports
Let's say you mountain bike in the summer and snowmobile in the winter. No problem. Sign up for multiple sports. We even allow you to select different regions for each sport.
Skills Are Matched
When you register, you also register your skill level with each sport. This way, experts will only ever see expert level rides and beginners will only see beginner level rides.
Change Your Region
Let's say you are going to California next month and want to mountain bike down there. You can change the region for your mountain biking without affecting your other searches. Then when you get back, you can simply switch the region back to your local area.

About SportsmanRides
SportsmanRides was born waaaay back in 2005 by offroad motorcycle enthusiast Brad Churchill, who started taking groups of recreational off road riders out on guided rides every Wednesday during the summer months in the Rockies west of Calgary Alberta.
While operating the service, he realized that enthusiasts of other sports have similar challenges connecting with others. When can they go? Where do they go? Who can they go with on the date they're available? He took what he learned from the first couple of years and went to work designing a system that he felt could benefit many different outdoor sports and activities.
SportsmanRides has been reborn to address the one problem that EVERYBODY in the outdoor sports world experiences at some time: "I want to get out and play, but my regular buddies aren't available when I am. Who else can I ride with?"
Quads, dirt bikes, sleds, scooters, snow bikes, kayaks, 4X4's, Hikers, Skiers... Whatever the sport, SportsmanRides is here to help connect you with other like minded enthusiasts, because riding alone can not only be dangerous, but it's never as much fun as when you're with some buddies.
